The verdict is in and I too have been found guilty of using squeeze pages to build my list and to generate revenue. As an Internet Marketer I am constantly tracking my marketing efforts. For a little over a year now my Squeeze Pages have been declining in the search engines. No matter what I did I could not get the rankings back up, which only left me with one conclusion. The big G had made a decision that they no longer liked Squeeze Pages.

After reviewing my Google Analytic reports, I had no choice but to face the hard cold reality of the situation. My beloved Squeeze Pages had been found guilty, and was headed for death row. Unlike most Internet Marketers I do not point the finger at Google, in fact, I never have. Google is doing their job (not that I agree with every decision) which is to create the best possible search results for their consumers. I do not take there decisions personally, nor do I whine about it. I simply adapt, adjust, and keep making money.

Lets be honest here… Most Squeeze Pages suck! Put yourself in Google’s position for a moment. Your entire business model depends on your search results. Now ask yourself… Would you want to send clients to your Squeeze Page? If you are being honest with yourself and not wearing your heart on your sleeve, your answer would be NO! Even if your response is yes it does not matter. The gavel has been dropped and the verdict has been passed down. All Squeeze Pages have been found guilty, they are a thing of the past.

Once you have gotten over the death of the Squeeze Page the question remains… What do you do now?

You pick yourself up, dust yourself off and keep going. Most of my Squeeze Pages were on their own domain. I converted those domains into WordPress blogs and incorporated my opt-in box into the design of the page. At the end of my articles I am ask the reader to join my list.

Guess what???

This method has been working GREAT! I am once again dominating the search engines for my predetermined keyword phrases and my money express is still on track. If you are one of those people who spend time trying to buck the system, and you prefer to go down fighting – this section is for you.

I am an extremely optimistic person and it seems to work for me. I figure why complain, rant and rave over things out of my control, it never seems to change anything.

I usually spend one day a month analyzing data for my various websites. It was during one of those sessions that I discovered the bad news about Squeeze Pages. After about 10 minutes of letting everything thing sink in I began looking for the positive aspects of this situation. I knew from experience that others where going to hit the forums, complaining about this once they figured it out. They were going to begin looking towards others for a solution to the inevitable. While they are trying to find a way to cheat death, I will be secretly taking their lunch money.
